My Saturday morning was spent eating a very yummy breakfast at the new Bay Harbour Market, If you carry on past the main entrance to the Marina’s wharf, where the boats go to seal island, follow the road round to the fresh fish market, once you get a waft of pungent fishy aroma, you know your in the right place. There is a lack of signage!
The market is housed in a wharf side, warehouse that was once a fish factory, it has been beautifully renovated to accommodate the markets trade and food stands.
There is an energetic mix of African crafts, clothing and décor although some is a little to curio for my liking.
There is a good selection of food stands and plenty of seating, as well as live music throughout the afternoon and early evening.
Definitely worth the drive
