Now that I’m just down the road, Fat Cactus seems to have become our local spot for some good grub.
Although Fat Cactus is a Mexican restaurant, I am quite partial to their burgers with a little Mexican twist, especially the Fettapeno – It has a yummy Feta and Jalapeño sauce ummmmmm.
Fat Catus is always busy so if your wanting to go on the weekend its best to book.
It actually has two branches one Just of Kloof street, on Park Road Gardens and the other is in Durban Road Mowbray.
Their menu has all the standard Mexican dishes nacho’s, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas and of course some frozen margaritas to wash it down!
It’s defiantly worth a visit - but you'll have to take your own sombrero!!
