Why I Have Conversations

I love to talk, talking is my way of dealing with things I verbalise my worries, fears, concerns, if I’m anxious about something, or if I don’t understand, when I’m sad and when I’m happy. To me a conversation is a coping mechanism.
When my dad died I felt that every time I had a conversation with someone and told them what had happened a little bit of my grief was shared and the load in some way lessened.
Conversations mean so much to me, for me a conversation is a way of connecting with friends, family and even strangers.
Conversations are how I learn and teach others what I have learnt. They help me see my downfalls and my strengths.
The other thing I tend to do when I have conversations, with people I haven’t met before or don’t know very well, I ask questions hundreds of questions. This is because people’s lives and experiences fascinate me.
