Hooray for the long weekend and Jeremy Loops

I am so excited to have 5 days off, no uni and no children. Hopefully it will give me an opportunity to make a dent in the huge pile of university work that awaits my attention.

My little holiday got off to a great start, after a bit persuasion from my friends, Thursday night was spent having a boogie to Jeremy Loops at The Assembly,
Harrington Street
, District six.

Jeremy loops, has been described as a “modern day one man folk band”. Using his loop peddle he records various instruments and sounds and then plays them back, over each other creating the most enchanting, danceable music I have heard in a long time.

I have never seen the crowd at Assembly dance like they did on Thursday night.

Have a look at this link and see him in action. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlNQeHCx22Qwww.youtube.com/watch?v=mlNQeHCx22Q
