My favorite places to eat in Cape Town

  1. Arnolds on Kloof Street, is known for its legendary bargain breakfasts. I love nothing more, than cycling there on a Saturday morning for a spot of brekkie. 021 4244344
  2. Beleza in Kloof Nek Road,  has a great breakfast for only R12, Lunch R25, dinner R40 and R15 cocktails served till 7pm. 0214260795
  3. Royale Eatery on Long street, is reasonable at the best of times, but their ‘Twilight special’ is not to be missed. Mondays to Thursdays, between 16:00-18:00, selected burgers are only R30. 021 422 4536
  4. El burro in Green point, is owned by the same people as Royale. It has quirky décor and delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. 021 4332364
  5. Pancho’s is another Mexican in observatory, they have the hugest portions and it is really reasonably priced at around R50 for a main. 021 447 4854
  6. Beluga in green point, has great deals on half price sushi and cocktails till 6 pm. Beluga is normally quite expensive but the special makes it very affordable. 0214182948
  7. Carlyle’s in Vredehoek, does really good pizza’s and the restaurant always has a bit of a vibe plus it’s our local.  021 461 8787
  8. Side walk Café, is also in Vredehoek on Derrry Road. It is the quaintest restaurant with a delicious selection of food. 021 461 2839
  9. Simply Asia in Park Road, Is one of my favorite Sunday night take away’s. A main will set you back round R50. I always get 515 Ba-Mee Nua Pra-Ramget (Spicy Peanut beef noodles) it is so YUMMY 021 422-3364
  10. Fork In long street, has the most divine Tapas. It is a little pricey, so this is a special occasion’s kind of a place. The food is a true taste sensation. 021 424 6334
